CARIBOU HUNT
Our unguided caribou hunts are conducted in Units 9 & 17 west of
the Alaska Range, approximately 2 hours of flight time away.
This area includes most of the Mulchatna River Drainage and
surrounding country. Barren Ground Caribou are the largest of the
5 caribou species. Their migratory travel pattern takes hunting
from tundra lowlands to open rolling hillsides. Groups range in
number from 5 to hundreds of animals.
The advantage we have over most outfitters
is 30 years experience in this area. The extensive range of
caribou requires us to spend substantial time scouting for
concentrations of animals to ensure successful hunts. Our float
planes give us access to hundreds of remote lakes in the heart of
prime caribou habitat. We take pride in our hunter success rate
over the years and strive to make each hunt a successful and
memorable experience.
